After exploring various types of careers, I became an
orthodontic assistant. I feel my career is exciting and
challenging because every day is a learning experience. After
ten years of working as an orthodontic assistant I've seen many
new technologies in orthodontics. I am continuously taking
courses and attending seminars to maintain my orthodontic
skills. The greatest part of my job is seeing the satisfaction
on each patient's face when their treatment is completed-
that's when I know that I've helped someone feel better about
themselves.
Besides being an orthodontic assistant, I love outdoor
activities, especially during the summer. My activities include
fishing, hiking, white water rafting, paintball, biking and
just relaxing on the beach. I also love camping with my
family.
